The Flow in the Machine (2022) is a remix of the film Baraka by Ron Fricke (1992).
The original film contemplates movement in humanity and nature, the impact of technology,
and the flow of energy and matter in the world. This remix, made with the assistance of AI rotoscoping tool EbSynth,
distorts the original images by superimposing the movement of the next shot over the image of the last.
The soundtrack is also sampled from the original film score, and remixed with the help of different machine learning tools like
Google's Magenta and Then Try This and Aphex Twin's Samplebrain.
